I work with the IS team that works with internal business users to deliver solutions that allow them to work effectively, efficiently, and with as little human error as possible. This involves business analysis, project management, solution analysis, programming, and configuration. Much of my time is spent designing and building apps in C# .NET, and SQL Server. Was laid off July 4rd because the manager decided the team would no longer do any development work and instead use exclusively off-the-shelf apps.

Voyageur Place

I worked at the Voyageur Place Residence at the University of Saskatchewan, where I oversaw, coordinated, and enforced rules on a floor of the University of Saskatchewan Residence in Voyageur Place. There, where I worked with a team, was part of a community, which I reached out to, and got to know personally, while also carrying out my duties during my year in that position.My duties included building bulletin boards, social programming (events), weekly team meetings, bi-weekly reports, and on-duty rounds of the Residences, to make sure people were being safe, responsible, and of a reasonable noise level. I was also there for the students on my floor if they ever got locked out of their rooms, needed assistance or clarification with anything residence related, be part of the community, and sometimes, even help with their classes. This role allowed me to build friendships and connections which are still strong.
