Royce Thomas is a seasoned sales executive in the telecommunications, colocation and cloud technology industries with nearly 25 years of experience in global account management, strategic planning and channel development. He joined Equinix in 2011 as vice president of global accounts, managing a team of senior sales teams focused on a set of top strategic customers across cloud, network, finance and enterprise verticals. Mr. Thomas came to Equinix from Level 3 Communications, where he was vice president of large enterprise sales and led teams dedicated to Fortune 300 accounts. Over the course of his eight-year tenure at Level 3 Communications, he managed sales to various verticals: content markets, cable and ISP channels, portal and search.
