Consolidate is a US-based startup. As a co-founder, I have been heavily involved at the business level with the Trans5 product, a compiler to turn legacy desktop apps into modern browser and mobile clients based on HTML5 technologies. The system targets heavy-duty enterprise codebases, and has been demonstrated live at the 2 biggest tech-conferences held by Actian Corporation in the UK and Germany.- Wrote a JavaScript cross-compiler from scratch in Clojure. It turns desktop apps into RIA for web and mobile clients. Based on HTML5 (localstorage, pushstate, file API, websockets, webworkers, canvas), Backbone.js, and jQuery. Clients consume JSON backend APIs via jQuery/Ajax and use jQuery/Deferred for callback-free, asynchronous code. Modularity is handled with Require.js.- Added Appstore distribution via PhoneGap to open transformed codebases to new markets.- Used Node.js with Async.js/Socket.IO as proxy to backend data layers and to stream real-time logs.- Used Google Closure compiler to eliminate code unreachable from the UI to solve the problem of converting massive enterprise apps into slim, Single Page App mobile clients.- Researched and prototyped numerous JavaScript MVC frameworks for RIA solutions, including Backbone.js, Angular.js, and Ember.js with Twitter Bootstrap for styling and Express.js as backend.- Trained team members in JavaScript, Node.js, and Clojure.

Bording Data is a Danish .NET/Java software house. My team’s responsibility was a mission-critical 24/7 ERP system servicing 60% of food distribution networks in Denmark. I was heavily involved in 3-tier design and app development. Often served as toolmaker for the group. All team members doubled as trained DBAs.I spearheaded a number of initiatives in addition to my official role:Web Architect of bordingdata.dk- Turned a handful of Flash sites into a single Drupal/MySQL system.- Solution became the pillar of Bording Data’s marketing efforts.- Planned and executed a SEO strategy to remove index barriers for Google and optimize incoming links to raise the PageRank of major landing pages from 0 to 5 in a few months.- Trained 5 people in the use of Drupal, SEO, JavaScript performance, and MySQL optimization.Author of Application Installer With World-Wide Adoption: - Our ERP system clients required admin privileges to be installed and run by users. The company stood to lose the entire customer-base who had switched to Citrix/MS Terminal Services.- Wrote an application installer in C++ modeled on MS Silverlight, which retained customers.- The installer was adopted by Actian Corporation for its innovations as the official deployment tool for their OpenROAD 4GL programming language.- Invited to speak at multiple conferences held by Actian Corporation to evangelize this solution.Primary Developer of Successful Code Renewal Project (500K+ LoC): - ERP system had a legacy codebase which was unsellable due to using terminal UI (“green-screens”).- Used C#, Antlr , a variety of Unix shell tools for transforming the codebase from a procedural language on AIX to an object-oriented, multi-tiered architecture on Windows. - Bording Data kept the 40% of revenues, which the system accounted for. It still runs in production and won a long-term customer contract from a competitor.- Presented the solution at the biggest UK Ingres User Conference in London, 2011.

Cornucopia Art was a web-design shop, specializing in bespoke solutions for smaller companies such as CMS systems, wikis, blogs, e-commerce solutions, and chat apps. Primarily worked in Python, PHP, Java (Struts, Spring, Hibernate), and C# (ASP.NET) with Apache/MySQL stacks.I was the technical co-founder together with a graphics designer.
