In July 2019 I joined Northeastern Pennsylvania’s only private psychiatric hospital that provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, and adults as the Director of Business Development. In this role, I manage the marketing and patient referrals for a 150-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital and outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. One of the best aspects of this position is developing and growing professional relationships with substance abuse treatment providers, hospitals, medical professionals and other key decision-makers of prospective referral resources with the intent of creating long-lasting referral relationships that allow patients the opportunity to utilize the hospital as part of their treatment process. Some of my selected accomplishments include creating and implementing mechanisms to track increases in volume, growth, and revenue and achieving new revenue objectives for Eastern Pennsylvania territory resulting in new business that increased overall market share.

For over 28 years I held the position of Account Manager with McKesson, one of the nation’s leading health care services company that provides pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and health care information technologies. I promoted and sold a wide variety of surgical supplies and equipment covering the Northeast and Central Pennsylvania territory with a focus on assisting physicians to streamline the ordering process and run their business more efficiently at greater profit margins. I was instrumental in developing strategies aimed at accelerating overall business processes and executing call plans and key account strategies to specifically add new accounts to the territory. Some of the achievements that I am most proud of include:  Top Cosmetic Laser sales producer, 2009 Midmark power exam table Master Tier 1, 2007 – 2011 Top bonus category for percentage growth against plan, 2010 Significantly increased failing territory to sales in excess of $1.6 million Gross profit margin of 32% (well above industry average)

After graduating from college I landed a position in sales. I learned valuable skills including negotiation tactics, solution selling, networking, and marketing that were the foundation for building a successful career over the years.
