    During Hurricane Katrina, I deployed to Mississippi under the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) serving as State Disaster Housing Coordinator to FEMA. These efforts lead to the deployment of nearly 40,000 travel trailers and mobile homes within 90 days of landfall.
