POSITION FUNCTION & SCOPE:Serve as a champion for the IT team in order to provide technical solutions to meet organizational needs.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Responsible for endpoint engineering of laptops, desktops, smartphones, and tablet devices.• Implements the process for installation of the Desktop/Laptop software image including any scripting or customization of applications. • Works with the applications and infrastructure teams on any scripting, customization, or automation needs related to software deployments or endpoint integration of applications.• Assist with the design and deployment of solutions that reside on endpoints including third-party application/agent configuration and deployment.• Design, implement, and support mobility infrastructure for smartphones and tablets including periodic re-designs to adjust to changing market conditions.• Works with infrastructure team to develop and test group policy and software deployment scripts.• Develop scripts and design application integration for process automation• Plan and install application upgrades.• Develop and maintain test environments.• Perform Level 3 support on operational issues.• Assist with training and coaching of junior support staff members.

Enterprise Solution design ensuring business continuity within the Endpoint Platform infrastructure including requirements analysis, documentation, engineering, quality assurance, development, training, user acceptance testing, and production implementation.On-call Level 3 Support and root cause analysis as needed troubleshooting Windows Server/Client issues in complex multi-tiered multi-vendor environment.Windows Client Operation System deployment leveraging industry standard and internally developed technology to achieve zero-touch and factorydeployable systems.Client Endpoint automation of operating system and software patching.Active Directory Group Policy design, implementation, and maintenance in a multi-domain environment with emphasis on managed Desktop/Laptopand restricted configurations.Point of contact with the vendors, IT and Business Users supporting non-production and production product errors, malfunctions, and/or systemperformance issues.Provide technical leadership and is a focal point for guidance and knowledge in the execution of environment changes, product upgrades andvendor SOW's.Participate in hardware and peripheral products selection, evaluation, and testing including maintenance of the Product and Service catalog

Responsible for managing enterprise-wide software distributionsManages the design and implements test plans for each desktop imageMentors team member, oversees deployment projects and assigns tasks to project team

Build and deploy software distribution packages created for designated applications Develop support procedures and related documentation Provide technical support training to IT Helpdesk and Desktop technicians Resolve 3rd level escalations

Integration testing of new applications and desktop hardware Manage Integration Test lab facility and inventory control

Perform software installations and new hardware deployments User application migrations and 2nd level software desktop support Network printer troubleshooting and repair
