During the past 10 years I’ve helped founders and leadership teams in hyper-growth tech companies to: - Execute two IPOs (NYSE: HIPO, NASDAQ: LMNS) and a take-private transaction for >$500m- Raise over $1b in both private and public capital, working with some of the most prominent venture capital firms in the Bay Area- Build world-class finance teams and the financial and operational infrastructure of a public company in fintech and healthcare (SaaS, B2B & B2C) I’m passionate about scaling companies and building well-oiled machines that execute seamlessly at scale. As a finance leader, I operate as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team, board of directors and investors; my teams are focused on data-driven insights to drive performance and influence decision making. And I love building winning teams - identifying and onboarding top talent, growing and developing each individual, and empowering the team to operate at their very best. Through my experience as a platoon commander in the Special Forces of the Israeli Air Force, working with leadership teams of Fortune 500 companies and scaling early stage ventures, I’ve distilled 4 key principles which I lean on: 1. PEOPLE. Bring the right people on the bus. If in doubt, optimize for passion and drive. Skills and experience are overrated; anything can be taught with the right mindset and essential intrinsics.2. CULTURE. Codify your values, reward the right behavior and communicate that clearly. Most importantly: lead by example. The right culture unleashes employees’ potential and makes everyone more productive, creative and motivated. 3. FOCUS. Prioritize ruthlessly. Always think 80/20. Be deliberate about what you’re NOT doing and make sure everyone is aligned. 4. EXECUTION. Define clear goals across the org. Measure only what moves the needle and over-communicate it relentlessly. Continuously improve through post-mortems and innovation.
