Engage as TS Consultant under GovTech supporting Govt Agencies.Roles & Responsibilities:• Responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of application infrastructure services that meet application requirements and business needs.• Ensure implementation and application services are aligned to Government's policies, standards and procedures.• Establish use cases monitoring rules and alerts for SIEM, DAM and EDR systems.• Engage stakeholders to translate business requirement into application infrastructure design and services to meet the intended availability, capacity, resiliency, security and continuity requirements.• Forecast budget needed to support project initiatives and maintenance contracts.• Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy and configure IT application infrastructure projects to meet confidentiality, availability and data integrity needs.• Ensure Agency's Technical Architecture and application infrastructure are compliant with Govt IM8 and Agency IT Policies and Standards.• Manage day-to-day delivery and support of application infrastructure services. Providing security by design support to agency infra and application projects.• Collaborate with other government agencies and central services teams to facilitate and deliver government-wide application services• Act as Agency Security Incident Response Officer(SIRO) to response to ministry incidents and security events.• Perform investigation and escalation of security incidents and events.

Leading a dedicated team that focuses on: -Perform real-time analysis and trending of security log data from various security devices and systems.-Maintains data sources feeding the log monitoring system, develops and maintains detection and alerting rules.-Responds to security incidents.-Responds to user incident reports and evaluates the type and severity of security events.-Executes initial triage of incidents to rule out false positives. -Documents incidents and develops reports.-Identifies recurring security issues and risks and develops mitigation plans and recommends process improvements.-Interprets and applies security policies and procedures.-Monitor security systems-Perform security assessment, audit review and project management.
