Directed Safety issues for MultiServ’s – North America Steel Mill Service Operations (approx. 1500 employees at 45 sites). While simultaneously (through October 1, 2002) managing Reed Minerals’ Coal Slag and Rock processing facilities (approx. 250 employees at 16 sites) in addition to all Safety Analysis/Statistics and Record keeping for the MultiServ Mexico and South American facilities (approx. 2000 employees at 39 sites). Directed safety training and program development through the implementation of our SafeGuard Principles and the STOP program philosophies. Directed the reporting, investigation and classification of accidents.Managed and tracked all return to work initiatives and assist in workers compensation case/claim management, and casualty claim management for fixed and mobile assets. Directed third party Risk Management/Property Loss Investigations (FM Global).

 Managed 16 industrial facilities, two landfills and four aggregate wash facilities in 13 states for safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities included; but were not limited to, NPDES Permitting and Monitoring (surface and groundwater), Title V Permitting (Operating/Construction Permitting), Emission Inventory Statements, Solid Waste Management, Facility reviews and audits, Liaison between Regulatory Agencies, SARA Title III, EPCRA and TSCA Reporting, UST/AST Permitting and Management, Environmental Training, Education and Policy Development.Managed Safety programs for the Division: audits, maintained performance (statistical) data, Safeguard Program/Stop Policies and guidelines, served as technical resource and liaison, developed training programs and managed projects.Project Management experience with the construction of facilities in Houston, Texas and Ione, California (permits, engineering, budgets, contract negotiations, construction, turnkey management etc.)
