Associate Vfx Producer
• Managed teams of over 200 artists within a CG/FX centric pipeline (Matchmove, Layout, Anim, FX Lighting and Comp) and across 3 different time zones (Montreal, Bangalore and Adelaide) to deliver high end visual effects work for 225 shots on a live action Disney Feature.• Served as the point of contact for the Client, ensuring timely and transparent communication pertaining to project schedules, deliverables, new work, increased scope and change orders.• Collaborated closely with Executive Producer, the VFX Supervisor and Heads of Departments to bid and manage the work. Ensured internal communication between Supervisors, Leads, and Show Production, to anticipate and quickly resolve issues, technical or otherwise.• Determined resource requirement with the VFX Supervisor to deliver show within the contractual deadlines. Worked closely with Global Resource Management to plan the day-to-day needs of the show and updated the projections as needed using DASH.• Tracked project costs, shot changes, new scope, omits, etc and worked closely with the Finance department and Executive Producer to review the budget and adhere to payment and key milestones. • Lead the production team by ensuring constant communication, adherence to the production schedule while tracking shot progress using Shotgrid and fostering a nurturing, collaborative and positive work environment.• Managed all client, director and Disney Executive reviews and facilitated a dialogue regarding the clarity of notes and implications on schedule to manage client expectations.
