Hello everyone, my name is Hsuan-Po Lin, but you can call me Roy.I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, but I spent most of my life growing up in Taichung. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Systems Group at National Tsing Hua University. For my Bachelor’s, I studied in the Department of Medical Informatics under the College of Health Management at Chung Shan Medical University, focusing on IT management and (C.S.). Although my department was part of the College of Health Management, my diploma was officially issued by the College of Science. During my studies, I was honored to receive a scholarship in recognition of my academic achievements. I take pride in being transdisciplinary and open-minded,.My professional journey has allowed me to explore various fields of technology:-First job: I worked as an FAE in Taipei, providing technical support for DRAM modules and SSDs.-Second: I became a R&D engineer at USI in Nantou, where I supported the development of RF card drivers for Android phones.-Most recent role: At ITRI in Hsinchu, I served as an AI machine vision software engineer, focusing on AI vision development and implementation within NVIDIA Omniverse.Additionally, I participated in Google Cloud Taiwan’s Digital Exploration Program, earning both a Google Cloud learning certificate and a digital marketing certificate. This experience deepened my understanding of advertising, search engine optimization, and cloud services such as GKE, as well as gen AI tools like Gemini, MusicFX, VideoFX, Vertex AI’s Model Garden, and Imagen3.Through these experiences, I discovered my true passion lies in the 3D world, with NVIDIA Omniverse becoming the cornerstone of my journey.In my free time, I enjoy swimming, singing, and playing the guitar and piano. Performing and sharing my love for music is something I truly enjoy. My super idol is Justin Bieber, whose music inspires me both personally and creatively.Recently, I earned a Google Cloud Innovator Certification and received 990 free credits for hands-on learning through Cloud Labs. I also obtained a certification in NVIDIA Omniverse, showcasing my expertise in developing, customizing, and publishing extensions. My applications include NVIDIA Omniverse Machinima and Audio2Face with Digital Humans, and I am continuing to explore Isaac Sim. Looking ahead, I plan to deploy NVIDIA Omniverse Farm on Google Cloud GKE as part of my future roadmap. This architecture is highly scalable, supporting local rendering, cloud rendering, and hybrid rendering based on user requirements.
