NJ Turnpike Extension between Exit 14C and Jersey Avenue ($88 Million) | Contract with New Jersey Turnpike Authority The bridge deck is being replaced in multiple phases along this 2.2 mile long viaduct between Interchange 14C and the eastern terminus at Jersey Avenue approaching the Holland Tunnel. The scope of work also involves structural strengthening and repairs, structural steel repainting, lighting and drainage improvements, and approach roadway repairs of the five viaduct and two ramp structures located within the project limits.

Verrazano Bridge Upper Deck Replacement ($235.7 million) | Contract with MTA Bridges & Tunnels (TBTA)Managed technical aspects of installation, refurbishing, and fabrication of bridge finger (expansion) joints. Responsible for monitoring and drafting welding procedures and production in addition to QC/QA for SMAW, FCAW, and Submerged Arc Welding for orthotropic deck panels. Drafted and designed WPS, erection/demolition plans, MPT plans, and construction methods for orthotropic deck panels, sign gantry supports, median remediation at bridge approach, and rosphalt paving plans. Managed subcontractors for deck panel waterproofing membrane and MPT line striping. Oversaw engineers for drainage, roadwork, and earthwork at bridge approach.Open Road Tolling, Verrazano-Narrows Bridge ($60 million) | Contract with MTA Bridges & Tunnels (TBTA)Project lead for erection of new cashless toll gantries and new roadway at the Staten Island Approach of the Verrazano Bridge. Managed engineers and field staff on accelerated schedule to complete toll plaza work which included drilled shafts for gantries, final grade PCC roadway pavement, electrical utilities, cast-in-place barrier, drainage structure installation, and heavily modified MPT.

Staten Island Expressway Reconstruction ($112 million) | Contract with NYS DOTResponsible for collecting and tracking all project quantities and managing operations for major earthwork (excavation/embankment), concrete (roadbase/final grade PCC), drainage, and noise wall operations on three-mile long project. Assisted project engineers and cost engineer with innovating construction means and methods to complete work items ahead of schedule. Assisted Superintendents, Project Manager, and Engineers with field logistics and take-offs on field material.Gerritsen Inlet Bridge ($106 million) | Contract with NYC DOTOrganized document control work for project, including management of submittals, RFI's, and correspondences. Led project start-up initiatives in the field and the office. Work included obtaining permits, setting up fencing for project limits, and assisting Project Engineer and Project Manager with drafting official correspondences to subcontractors and owner.

Consulted General Contractors in NYC area on business strategies and contract compliance with State and City agencies. Performed market research on procurement analysis and New York State M/W/DBE requirements for all government contracts. Organized monthly compliance meetings with General Contractors and produced detailed reports for improving DBE and workforce participation requirements.
