Currently 15 fulltime IT professionals.• Created and implemented Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan, utilizing existing infrastructure and resources.• Led efforts to evaluate vendor supplied, remote hosting of DMC’s ERP versus self-managed, on-site hosting solution. • Directed DMC staff in a major upgrade from Oracle EBS 11.03 to Oracle EBS 11.5.9 in May 2004 which included significant changes to several application modules, and subsequent minor upgrades.• Implemented web-based, business to business, electronic commerce application for non-EDI customers to lower order management costs, reduce order-to-cash cycle, and provide advanced order status visibility for customers. • Responsible for implementation of Oracle’s Global Logistics (G-Log) Transportation modules in February of 2007. Successful application of this module has generated over $1.8 million in freight savings annually.• From September 2006 through July 2007, led large implementation team for the consolidation of DMC (Arlington, TX) and Aspen Pet (Denver, CO) onto a single instance of Oracle EBS, including additional modules Warehouse Management (WMS), Mobile Supply Chain Application (MSCA), Quality, and 3rd-party planning and forecasting software.• Led several Best of Breed software evaluation activities, focused on providing the required functionality at an appropriate cost.

Responsible for all Corporate centralized application development, implementation, and support. Responsibilities also included Data Center operations, planning, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.• Significant resource in defining the control objectives and activities needed to meet the requirements of SAS 70 Type I review.• Led IT efforts in recovering from March 2000 tornado, which devastated corporate offices. Activities included creating new environment for operations of company activities, both temporary space in a company owned warehouse and short term in new office space.• Led corporate efforts in evaluating and purchasing Essbase OLAP reporting cube for financial reporting and consolidation.• Developed very capable and well respected staff, including Computer Operations Manager, Oracle DBA, and several Oracle application developers.

Responsible for application development designed for a number of divisions within Radio Shack. Initially, developing applications for manufacturing plants in both the US and Asia, communication software for their import activities and finally, managing software development of Sales Order Management and Distribution for GRiD computer Systems.• Developed Purchase Order Management, Inventory Management, Payroll, and Job Costing software, provided site level installation and support at many of Radio Shack’s 27 US manufacturing plants. • Trained application developers in Asia on structured application development.• Developed, installed, and supported General Ledger and Project Management software for international offices.• Directed project team in application development to support TELEX communication between Radio Shack’s U.S. and international offices.• Led design and development team for Customer and Sales Order Management software to support GRiD Computers Systems 1-800 business initiative.
