As the Construction Safety and Occupational Health Specialist for the Army Corps of Engineers here at the Chickamauga Lock project. I will provide federal (Army Corps of Engineers) oversight ensuring that all personnel (Army Corps and Contractor) are working in a safe job site. My job is to ensure that both EM385.1.1 and OSHA rules and regulations are followed for the safety of all. I am responsible for over 70 individuals that should expand to over 200 by the start of the summer. I completed a project at the NNSA (Y-12) site with 0 record-able lost time injuries.
