Driven by a passion for making high quality business data available in a timely and consistent manner, I've built a strong foundation in data engineering, through 15+ years of experience at a number of companies like SpaceX, Myspace, American Honda and a number of smaller startup companies in different industries.In these roles, I consistently demonstrated problem solving by automating the manual process of gathering all parts that went into rocket manufacturing (taking 1 person 1 month previously), architected a cloud-based data store from scratch enabling a flexible approach to create more reports.Now, I'm eager to continue to leverage my skills in data engineering, where I can continue to streamline data flows, put in checks and balances during the ETL process, creating more data pipelines to have more availability on data while I mentor people on best practices and evangalize data throughout the company.Most recently, I worked at Hyperloop One, where I created the architecture for simulation software to predict optimal schedules on linear networks with autonomous vehicles. This involved complex data modeling, processing, and analysis, as well as collaboration with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across the organization. Previously, I was a data engineer and manager at Ruggable and PeerStreet, where I led the development and improvement of data warehouse and reporting platforms, implemented DBT and Agile methodologies, and reduced run-time of large data sets. I am passionate about solving data challenges and delivering value through data-driven insights and innovation.
