Employment Management Systems which owns Skills Connect has reinvented recruitment and HR landscape as game changing cloud solution. They spearheaded this trend with an e-tender gateway, global database, integrated and customised Google Search Appliance, and secured hosting with Rackspace®. This offered a faster, cost effective business artificial intelligence tool for companies and HR departments to interact with job seekers globally. Dr. Roy was the Chief Executive Officer of this start-up firm for 30 months and during his spell at the establishment, they patented their HR solution in Australia, New Zealand and USA. They re-engineered and enhanced their platform with full migration from .net to PHP, architectured open API’s, engaged and collaborated with key valued partners to offer an end-to-end recruitment cloud e-recruitment solution.The startup spread its tentacles by establishing a JV in Malaysia and spearheaded the launch execution. Gained government approved MSC Status (Multimedia Super Corridor) providing 10 years of tax-free benefit, with secured dedicated assistance with Austrade to promote sales activity for China, Japan, Korea and Indonesian Market, and Dr Roy was an integral part of this leap.

He developed a great team across the nation with minimal attrition rate, and won an award for the “Most Improved Office” Equipment/Asset Finance Office Award amongst franchise groups across 47 offices nationally. He increased billable staff utilisation by 7.5% and negotiated fixed price developments with clients maintaining budgeted margins.He was also able to restructure transit cost for clients earning savings of 8.5%, and he built the organisation infrastructure from a start-up of 8 to a team of 132 staff. He also managed to complete commercial refit of 1000sqm , realising savings in excess of 12.5% and a staff retention level of 90%+.
