Low-Carbon Comprehensive Mobility Plan (Rajkot):UNEP Transport Unit in Kenya, UNEP Risø Centre in Denmark and partners in India had embarked on a new initiative to support a low carbon transport pathway in India. The three-year project was funded under the International Climate Initiative of the German Government, and was designed in line with India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC). This project aimed to addresstransportation growth, development agenda and climate change issues in an integrated manner by catalyzing the development of a Transport Action Plan at national level and Low Carbon Mobility plans at cities level.I had an opportunity to work on the last phase of this project as an Research Associate, where I was engaged in data analysis, preparation of presentation, report and draft DPR for proposed NMT Scenario.
