As Assistant Store Manager, I was solution oriented through client facing interactions using selling techniques to drive results. I quickly build a following in the makeup and skincare arena which allowed me to surpass my daily and monthly goals while contributing to the overall performance of the store.I was able to interact with various magazine editors quarterly that The Body Shop brand financed for makeup launches for spring, summer and fall. The business was able to grow from great promotions and brand awareness overall. On the ground I was able to continue that effort by attending these various events, driving the daily business through sales strategies and building customer relationships to surpass our yearly goals.

I started my career with Godiva working in the MetLife Building at 200 Park Avenue. It was very exciting. As a sales associate not only were you constantly surrounded by the beauty of chocolate and the legend of Lady Godiva, but the visual merchandising of the stores were always exceptional. I quickly learned how to tie my first bow for corporate orders and to temper the chocolate for dipping. Most importantly I learned what it took to be successful in every area of a retail business. Not before long I was overseeing corporate visits as well as corporate orders and booking my own orders from start to completion.I returned to Godiva as Assistant Manager at the location where I started, and would often be traveling to various locations throughout the Metropolitan area to assist with visual merchandising and events for the company. MetLife was often recognized during our valentines day contest as being winners for most ballotin boxes sold etc.

Initially started at Dean and Deluca at the Rockefeller Center location during the holidays. Nothing can prepare you for the thousands of people we serviced every day especially during the tree lighting ceremony and throughout the holiday season. I had to learn very quickly how to multitask while still offering exceptional customer service. I was able to excel in all aspects from line person serving the food, I was promoted to the bar where I made hot and cold drinks for the patrons. Eventually I was promoted to cashier at that location. I was quickly making connections professionally at work and with various returning clients. Early the next year I was sought after by the manager at Columbus Circle to be a keyholder at her location. Together we were able to provide a great café experience to all the patrons, especially those from the Borders book store that was attached.Along with great advertising Strategies as well as offering samples at the Borders bookstore events, we were able to constantly meet our targets every quarter and yearly.
