During one plant shutdown, I wrote a novel, built a Slack-like IRC system that played a lightsaber noise with each chat (conversations sounded like battles!), and learned to brew coffee like a serious coffee nerd.Of course, I also got to build a system that controlled a LASER WELDER, and shot lasers at quarters at odd hours of the night during development. VB.NET was never so much fun as it was then. Oh, and there was a lot of liquid nitrogen. You know how it is. -
