• This strategic role is responsible for the oversight and execution of the Professional Development (PD) and Education strategies in the international markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Greater China, Europe and Emerging.
• implementing organisational education strategy in each market
• curriculum development and contextualisation for both e-learning and face-to-face content, ensuring the design and development of the learning products resonate with the intended audience and their cultural nuances
• conducting product training and coaching of internal stakeholders in the international markets
• aligning individual market strategies for PD with Divisional objectives, allowing for market variance
• creating and implementing a successful product approach and mix for each market

The regional role is responsible for the oversight and execution of the broader Education initiatives in addition to Professional Development (PD) strategy for CPA Australia in Asia especially in key markets of Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong to ensure the Learning & Development offer is market-oriented, consistent, commercially robust and well executed.

Singapore

• conduct onsite audits on accredited providers to ensure adherence to accreditation requirements, which includes auditing of management responsibilities, financial and administrative practices.
• conduct desktop review of organisations, processes, practices and learning content to ensure they meet accreditation criteria.
• facilitate discussions with subject matter experts on setting and updating of industry competency standards
• facilitate industry outreach through engagement events and work group meetings
• manage industry working groups, government agencies and training providers
• manage the learning and development needs of internal staff within the Institute

Singapore

• manage the finance function of accounts receivables, and ensuring that the collections of fees are consolidated and well documented
• ensure accuracy and completeness of the fee collection process, perform daily and monthly reconciliations and prepare reports for finance
• liaise with various departments to resolve student issues including, fee-related matters, program delivery and service issues
• manage a team of service and back-end fee processing officers
• analyse and report on statistics of student withdrawal movements and payment trends
• maintain student database and tracking of service issues
