IXAS Zuid-Oost BV is a special purpose company executing a public-private-partnership (PPP) project 'A9 Gaasperdammerweg' in the Netherlands. The project includes the design, build, management, financing and maintenance (DBFM) of the existing and new infrastructure of the A9 motorway between Diemen and Holendrecht. The project has a total nominal value of approximately $945 million (€700 million), including a 20-year management and maintenance period after the new infrastructure becomes available.The project consists of all the work to be performed in connection with the reconstruction and expansion of the A9 motorway between the junctions of Holendrecht and Diemen in the region of Amsterdam, including the bridge over the river Gaasp, the road surface on the A9 Gaasperdammerweg and the construction of an approximately three-kilometer cut-and-cover tunnel.From the date of commencement until the full completion of the ‘A9 Gaasperdammerweg’ I was responsible for the design of the MBSE metamodel and the quality of the designs that where derived from this model. The MBSE metamodel supported the design of the dynamic behaviour of tunnel technical installations. The model included structures for the elaboration of:- Scenario’s- Functions- Logical decompositions- Technical decompositions- Dynamic behaviour specifications- Logical and technical configurationsThe MBSE (meta)model contributed to a successful realisation of a fully traceable and verified dynamic behaviour design. Since the spring of 2018 I became responsible for the dynamic behaviour design, the industrial automation software design and the industrial automation software development teams. In collaboration with Technolution, our partner responsible for the software design and development of the business and presentation tiers, we had our focus on the integration of the software within the acceptation- and production environment.

A4ALL extends highway A4 from Delft towards Schiedam. Together with other Systems Engineers and Lead Engineers using SysML we create the requirements and design documents according J-STD-016.

Together with the team of Software Engineers we develop the software for the business- and presentation tier using the ABB 800xA Control System.
