Leading our Developer Platform Organization - building the frameworks engineers use to build Lyft. Our mission is to eliminate toil among engineers at Lyft - be it setting up web handlers, upgrading dependencies, or waiting on CI. We consider toil to be anything that requires an engineer’s time but isn’t contributing directly to the business.We’re accomplishing this mission through 4 main areas - Tooling to support schemas everywhere (based on protobuf), Async Tasks to make delaying work easy, safe, and out of the critical path, Languages and Libraries ensuring best-in-class support for our main languages (Python and Go) as well as fast, robust build and CI to identify issues before production and enable us to quickly adopt new platforms like M1 or Graviton.

- Tech Lead/Manger of "Rideable Platform" team in the new "Bikes and Scooters" division, building the platform used to ship multiple micro-mobility vehicles across multiple markets with their own unique rules in a single app.- Supported team of 6 engineers as manager.- Developed frameworks for reporting data to municipal governments, working closely with our Policy team and frequently interfacing with outside government officials on how to balance privacy with data needs.

Tech Lead of Developer Experience

Managed team of 11 building the world's largest CI infrastructure for Facebook.

- Traffic data quality evaluation tools- Route Around Traffic- Shader compiler for WebGL- Unit testing framework for Shaders in WebGL

- Work on creating rapid prototypes of Dynamics leveraging new Microsoft Technologies, using learnings from those prototypes to drive change in existing products and set future direction.

- Created toolkit to diagnose performance problems in X++ and SQL code in a Dynamics AX System- Devised standards and best practices to be used by developers across organization to write high performing code, enterprise ready code.- Lead team that managed daily stress and performance test runs against Dynamics Ax, working to improve Mean Time To Failure and diagnose performance regressions as they occurred.

- Developed tools for use by developers and artist who were working on the then Alpha XBox 360.- Worked with a team of engineers to create a unified interface to asset control systems spanning both code and art assets.
