Deputy Administrator for the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA). Working with elected officials, Roy supervised numerous development projects in Hollywood, the downtown Los Angeles areas around the University of Southern California, anf from Crenshaw, Williamstown and Watts to San Pedro. Also assisted city officials to plan and develop several Los Angeles icons, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Staples Center. Oversaw the development of the California Plaza Project in downtown Los Angeles, which consists of the Watercourt project, a major outdoor performance area and 42-story California Plaza II Office Tower. Roy helped to develop the 469-room Inter-Continental Hotel and 217-unit Museum Towers Apartment project, and 372-unit Grand Promenade apartment complex.
