Currently heading the Capacity Building team for Geomatics Engineering and Geospatial Science at the Singapore Land Authority, my expertise spans capability development, strategic planning and research.In my current role, I lead a diverse portfolio that goes beyond enhancing geospatial capabilities. I am spearheading efforts to create a comprehensive map of Singapore's subterranean space, a critical resource for urban planning in the land-scarce nation. This ambitious project involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies, establishing standards, fostering people development, improving data quality, and implementing robust governance frameworks.I also manages international relations for geospatial matters, representing Singapore's interests globally. My strategic acumen is key in aligning government, private sector, academia, and community efforts to realise Singapore's vision of a Safe, Sustainable, and Smart city.Complementing my practical experience, I hold a Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences from University College London, building upon his initial training in geography. This blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise drives his innovative approach to addressing geospatial challenges.With a comprehensive understanding of geospatial technologies, policy frameworks, and industry trends, I play a pivotal role in shaping Singapore's geospatial landscape.
