About Roslyn Campbell

I am a very outgoing, upbeat, energetic, and positive person with a multidisciplinary background in entertainment, public relations, special events, counseling, sales, and HIV prevention. Although seemingly one may wonder "how on earth do all of these things relate to one another? She's all over the place!" On the contrary, I am a very focused, tenacious, and optimistic "go getter" who believes in living life to the fullest. My experiences have allowed to me to be extremely effective across multiple disciplines. My acting background prepared me for public speaking, group facilitation, and has helped me to make bold and creative choices when faced with challenges. My experience in public relations gave me the confidence to network effectively with all forms of media and create attention getting events and marketing materials for programs I have been responsible for facilitating. I have spent the last 10 years in the non-profit sector working with underserved youth and families in communities impacted and affected by poverty, drugs, and HIV/AIDS. I enjoy the work of reaching out to communities in need to promote information that can be of vital use to their safety, health, and survival. Even within my current position as a health educator, I find myself digging in the crates of my experience to plan events, market our programs, and network with organizations in my community. I want to expand my work in this capacity by creating strategic partnerships, planning events, and doing work that connect various communities to relevant sources of information.
