Rozena was the first in-house communications executive to a States Department, (with the exception of the then Tourism Department). The appointment was made to provide the Financial Services Department with a resource for communications with the media and general public, and act as a conduit between external enquirers and the senior management team. Rozena managed the Island’s response to the announcement of the Review in January, coordinated the ongoing crisis management programme throughout the year and was responsible for the public announcement of the final Report to States Members, the finance industry and the general public on 19 November - which included live video links between London and Jersey and resulted in national and international editorial and broadcast coverage.
