In 2001, coordinated the media relations during the visit of the Prime Minister, The Rt. Honorable Jean Chrétien and Team Canada West to Los Angeles. In addition to my work with the U.S. media and Canadian journalists traveling with the Prime Minister, organized a cultural industry panel, which I moderated, to provide a lens to the participants of Team Canada on the issues facing the entertainment community in the U.S. and the opportunities for Canadians in this sector.In October 2002, launched a Canadian Talent Los Angeles website featuring over 2200 submissions of Canadian actors, actresses, writers, directors, producers, production personnel and agents who are living in Los Angeles. The website received over 250,000 hits per year and provided an invaluable resource for producers planning to film in Canada.Was responsible for organizing major events to celebrate Canadian nominees for Oscar and Emmy awards. Was active on a number of Oscar campaigns in the animation and documentary categories and played a major role in the Oscar campaign for the Best Foreign Language nominated film, "The Barbarian Invasions", which was featured on CBC National News. Responsible for all media relations for the Consulate General, including outreach, press releases, arranging interviews for visiting dignitaries and developing media strategies for issues and events.

Provided legislative research on behalf of Mayor Tom Bradley and the City Council including working on California Coastal Commission issues and drafting the City Coastal Planning Policy Statement.

Taught undergraduate courses in public administration and on the American political process at Pepperdine University, in Los Angeles, California.
