Professionally, I've been laid off, downsized, rightsized, and turned upside down. During those career storms, I always returned to the same constant: my absolute fascination with people reinventing themselves. Just the thought of people rising from the ashes from a career that got derailed—well, it’s a mental picture that brings a smile to my face. So, I took my passion, derailments, and experience—at hospitals, nonprofits, retail and start-ups. Then, I sprinkled in some outstanding training, and like a phoenix, I reinvented myself--as a certified coach and certified hypnotist. Now, I help professionals who find themselves in shock and in career transition. We rediscover their voice and their strengths. Then we dust off an exit statement and rock a positioning statement so they are ready--and I mean pumped!--to interview. I also help new college grads—wide eyed and eager--invent themselves professionally for the first time so they interview with confidence, build their professional network and launch their careers.And then I use hypnosis to supercharge their confidence and their search through the power of their subconscious mind.My dad asked if it’s depressing to work with people who have been laid off or job searching.
