A MEng level mechanical engineer, with specialty in Computational Methods. The basic field he occupies is the Computational Fluid Dynamics.As an undergraduate student he focused on the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations, as well as the energy equation for incompressible fluids in cold plasma reactors, using the finite volumes method and the OpenFOAM software.In his postgraduate studies (MSc) he focused on the fluid modeling of plasmas, and especially hydrogen plasmas.In his Ph.D. he focuses on the coupling of the Finite Volumes Method (Eulerian) with the Vortex Particle Method (Lagrangian) for the solution of wind related problems.Furthermore, throughout his study years he has acquired a deep knowledge in structural mechanics and dynamic analysis, using the finite elements method, as well as in heat transfer and thermodynamics topics.
