Worked in a dynamic consulting position that required utilization of personal energy, drive and experience to asses and develop restructuring recommendations of healthcare technology, materials management and logistics operations, inventory reductions, service center consolidations, alternative distribution models, workflow redesign, maximizing departmental facility space, enhancing cash flow, developing contract compliance, definition and restructuring data and information systems, and Joint Commission survey readiness. Utilized problem-solving capabilities to impact change through the use of multidimensional assessments, development and implementation of key strategic and tactical solutions.

High profile leadership position that was responsible for the hospital’s surgical multi-million dollar operations. Responsibilities included programmatic management for perioperative services (250+FTE’s) day-to-day operational support for the Director of Surgical/Anesthesia Services. Included was direct responsibility for 13 FTEs responsible for information systems, financial management and reporting, inventory management, business office, logistic and facilities management. Successful implementation of mission/time critical core business, logistic and information system replacements designed to fill strategic gaps as identified in the hospital and department’s strategic plans.

High profile leadership position that was responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for all Materials Management Services. Directly responsible for 23 FTE’s with functional responsibilities for purchasing, storeroom, distribution and instrument processing.
