The Fullerton Public Library Board of Trustees is an administrative board with oversight of the Fullerton Public Library as defined in the California State Education Code. Responsibilities include general control of library property, policies, procedures, an annual budget of $3.9MM, and the appointment of the city's Library Director.

Serve as the elected chair for the board, which provides for the regulation and maintenance of the public library system in the city of Fullerton. The board has general control of the library’s funds ($3.5 MM/yr) and property; hires the City Librarian subject to Fullerton rules and regulations; and sets policy, rules, and regulations for the conduct of library affairs.
