Although this may seem a bit off track from the animal care services seen throughout the rest of my page, I became employed through Good Neighbor as a Direct Caregiver for my mother. In actuality, I began providing caregiver services for her since 2018, and while it has been extremely difficult watching her condition progress these past two years, I will always strive to give her the best care possible.

Petsense is a chain retail store specializing in pet supplies and various pet services, as well as promoting animal adoption through local city shelters and rescues. There I assisted customers with various pet related needs and maintained cleanliness and organization throughout the store. I was also placed in the grooming salon, where I provided services such as bathing, nail trims and the occasional full groom.

Second Home Pet Resort is a one of a kind, mountainside facility which offers boarding, grooming, doggy daycare, and 24 hour services for their guests. While employed, I provided services such as cleaning and sanitizing areas, preparing and feeding meals, distributing medications, and doing laundry. These services also included guest enrichment through play and cuddle sessions, walks and resort activities. I eventually changed positions to work overnights, where I secured and monitored the facility and grounds throughout the night and quietly observed guests as they slept. Lastly, I responded to pet guests that required extra attention during the night.

Alta Vista Boarding and Grooming is a veterinary owned facility which offers boarding, grooming, and doggy daycare services. There I helped maintain cleanliness throughout the facility and conducted pet welfare checks. I distributed meals and medications, as well as occasionally administered vaccines. I supervised dogs during daycare to ensure a safe and fun environment, and lastly I provided administrative tasks which included taking reservations, scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate client records.
