In addition to my role as the Engineering Manager for Data Platform, I have taken on the role of Tech Lead, which has become my main focus. As the Tech Lead, I work closely with the Product Manager to define our product strategy and use prototyping and experimentation to explore new approaches to problem-solving. I guide and coach engineers on best practices and new ways of working, while also championing initiatives around continuous delivery, automation, and the evolution of our data platform. My overall goal is to provide technical leadership and expertise to empower our team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As the Engineering Manager for SumUp's Data Platform Engineering team, I lead a team of 8-10 engineers. I am responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members and providing feedback and guidance to support their career progression. Before having a product manager, I also organised and lead agile processes to ensure that we were delivering high-quality outcome to the business. I prioritise fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture where all members feel empowered to do their best work.

As part of the Data Infrastructure Squad at HelloFresh, I'm responsible for assisting our global stakeholders with providing the best-in-class data infrastructure so that we can support their various needs on ingesting, transforming and consuming the data. Also, we take care of providing healthy systems and tools that allow everyone to access all data with maximum availability and scalable and performant solutions.

As a Technical Program Manager at HelloFresh, my main responsibilities revolve around the Data Tribes (Data Warehouse and Data Insights), helping both teams to execute their strategies, driving processes and assisting on the overall outcome of our data products. Those responsibilities also encompass leading the agile cerimonies (Scrum and Kanban teams) and working on better metrics, processes and overall improvement of the clarity of our strategy.

In my role within the Data Platform team, I played a part in our data-driven strategy, focusing on the design and development of our data infrastructure, processes, and analytics capabilities. I was deeply involved in solving complex challenges, including event pipelines, analytics, and large-scale applied machine learning. My responsibilities extended to ensuring accessibility, reliability, and efficiency in querying vast amounts of data, empowering our teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. I thrived in this dynamic environment, working with diverse tools and technologies like Spark and Looker, which not only enriched my expertise but also made this role an excellent opportunity for continuous skill development.

As a Full Stack Business Analyst - Data & BI, I was part of the IT team responsible for all things data-related at Avante. Our team was responsible for all the data pipelines, infrastructure, BI solutions and overall architecture of the system. Our goal was to provide data solutions for all teams in the company and enable Avante to become a data-driven company throughout it's business operation's lifecycle.

As the Oracle Demand Manager for GE Digital in Brazil, I'm responsible for capturing new requests for projects and enhancements, design the solutions and engage the team on implementing them, as well as providing the technical guidance whenever needed. As for the Data Analytics Leader, I'm responsible for the implementation of reporting solutions and analysis for the GE businesses that are supported by GE Digital in LATAM. The solutions are based on the data reporting technologies and applications (Hadoop, Greenplum, OBIEE, SAP BO, Tableau, Spotfire) and the overall data lake structures that GE has.

As the IT Technical Leader for Oracle EBS R12 migrations/consolidations at GE Digital in Brazil, my main responsibilities were to manage conversions, integrations, testing strategies and code management for the implementation projecs.I was also one of the SMEs for the tools that are used in those project, most notably HP PPM (release management), CVS (code versioning) and Quality Center (testing management); I also gave guidance on the overall governance & release management strategies whenever needed.

I was part of the Leadership Program (Trainee) in Brazil, hired as an IT Trainee in a job-rotation structure. My main assignments were:- IT Projects Team (3 months): created and implemented a plan to improve the current change management tool, as well as following the company's standard IT tollgate process to implement a new solution; I was responsible for assessing the market, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Functional and Technical Requirements and Final Recommendation for implementation.- IT PMO (2 months): created a plan to implement an IT Portfolio Management application, benchmarking the solutions available as well as following the company's standard IT tollgate process.- IT Infrastructure (1 month): co-created a plan to standardize the IT End-User services, by developing an IT Service Catalog.- Process Improvement/CoE Supply Chain (6 months): managed the implementation of a new business model with a 3rd-party, which involved the outside processing/manufacturing of goods, as well as the logistics and financial/tax changes scenarios related to it; acted as the focal point between the IT, Sales, Planning and Supply Chain teams, while defining the new process and adjusting the current operations to ensure a smooth transition.

Acted as the IT the IT focal point and DBA/Developer for the Market Planning Team. My main activities were the development, integration and automation of the Database with all the information related to electricity usage with a tool (developed VBA), which could be used to generate the short-term projections for the electricy consumption of the Company, assisting in the decision-making process of the capacity planning and bidding at the auctions.

I was an Intern in the z/OS System Support Team at IBM Brazil. My main responsibilities were related to the z/OS and iSeries platforms, more specifically with generating reports to track and improve the overall performance of the supported systems.I also had experience as the SME for a learning and documentation platform (Quick), acting as the focal point for the Department and ensuring that we could have a standard process for documenting and updating knowledge articles.

Responsible for developing the web module for a field engineer training tool, customized to CPFL ( one of the major electricity distribution companies). My main activities were developing the module using PHP language, as well as Javascript for the user interface and the database schema/design on mySQL.
