Developed a new introductory engineering course with the wood shop teacher. The course covered drafting, mechanics, design process, and electric circuits with arduino micro-controllers. Started a cross curricular program with two other teachers to design, engineer, and build a Tiny House RV. The program successfully built and sold two tiny houses.

Instructed middle school students in computer science to compete in an international robotics competition held on board the International Space Station. Supervised 2-4 college and high school student TAs.

New Britain

Led a team of mechanical engineering students to investigate the creation of a sensor to visually indicate solenoid valve jamming. Analyzed the magnetic field of the valve under various conditions using MagNet software. Created a prototype using a hall effect sensor and an arduino microcontroller. Communicated the results in the final engineering report.
