Software, Release and Development EngineeringI support multiple wireless modem mobility projects by performing engineering integration builds using Clearcase, GIT, and Bender build environments. I also write and maintain Bash scripts used in build and source-code versioning processes, and document these procedures for wider usage.

Oversaw and facilitated the automation and configuration of daily builds, and remote deployment (to other company sites) of Lattice's enterprise product software, creating continuous integration tools and packing solutions, and ensuring that the software release process is fully maintained and up-to-date (a combination of in-house and external tools, Perl, BAT, and shell scripts).Developed and tested build scripts in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems to automate the build/compilation of a wide range of technologies such as: C/C++, Java, and others; these scripts were designed to run with no human interaction, performing nightly software build tasks automatically, including post-build HTML report generation for easy build issue tracking and viewing by company developers, QA personnel, and management.Successfully migrated the Windows portion of the build system from 32-bit Windows 2000 to 64-bit Windows 7, and coordinated build system administration across dedicated build machines; Expert at cross-platform Perl development and Perl regular expression constructs.Coordinated with software development, IT, testing and project management teams to ensure the build and release cycles are continuous for large software products supporting FPGA and CPLD devices on three platforms (Windows, Solaris, and Linux), supporting major releases, service pack releases, and numerous hot-fixes for each product, across all platforms.Defined smoke testing process and procedures, worked on automation of build and integration testing that improved deliverable product quality; researched, developed, and delivered procedures to reduce total build time.Customized Serena Dimensions to facilitate the development life-cycle and add new product in the system; extensive administrative experience in enterprise-level SCM tools (Dimensions CM, RCS, CVS, and SCCS)

Member of the Technical StaffMember of a SW development team working on automating software builds, and in-house tool development, for the support of FPGA software products. This job included writing Perl and Shell scripts, troubleshooting and debugging, remote-site SW distribution (using Rsync), with frequent interactions with various SW developers and management.

Member of the Technical StaffSW Developer working on a multi-tool CAD front-end, written in C, for use across different graphics terminals, in support of intergrated circuit design engineers. This front-end was used for back-end applications such as Schematic Capture programs, Place and Route programs, Timing Simulators, etc.
