The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and secure new capital campaign client prospects. Participates in strategic planning, client acquisition, revenue growth, thought leadership support, and strategic partnerships.

With the Grant Writer, composing compelling and thoughtful grant applications for a spectrum of grants. Responsible for reporting to donors and grantors; maintaining a calendar of reporting deadlines and managing the reporting process. Increasing engagement across corporate, foundations, and individual giving channels. Developing strategies and tactics for RIPMD and our partners to eliminate barriers caused by institutional racism in political and policy making structures, and work collaboratively to ensure full participation by communities of color, low-income communities, working families, and other impacted communities. Also responsible for supervising the work and responsibilities of the Strategic Partnerships Development Associate and Grant Writer.

Responsible for private support from individuals through solicitation of gifts for Director's Circle at the $12.5K-$25K levels, which is an annual fund membership program. Assists the Museum's Director of Development, the Museum's Director, and Board Members with targeting individual giving prospects, developing strategies of solicitation, the cultivation of prospects, and stewardship of donors.

As one of 7 senior staff members, this position reports to the executive director and leads the Board Membership Committee, which was implemented 2 years ago and has become a driving force of revenue under my leadership. Day to day responsibilities include managing the donor database and entirety of membership process from solicitation to financial processing, creation of membership cards and materials, and mailings. Other responsibilities include processing tributes, overseeing the annual campaign, and creating year-end tax letters for all donors.After initiating active recruitment methods for membership, restructuring the benefits program, and personally designing new membership materials including a brochure, membership cards, vouchers, and letters, the museum saw a 17% increase in membership over the past 4 years growing member households from 850 to over 1000, and the member attendance rate more than doubled. With the addition of a $10,000 membership level, this position grew to include asking donors for major gifts.The Visitor Services aspects of the position include management of the Museum Store and staff, admissions, and customer service. Implemented a new online-ticketing initiative, from identifying the software to creation of new ticketing forms. Began recording and analyzing in-depth statistical information about membership, admission, and sales and now have over 5 years of data.

Administered a census for the Avi Chai Corporation regarding Jewish education in grades K-12. Data was collected from over 300 Hebrew schools, and organized in Microsoft Excel.
