·Manage a customer order service team of 10 employees ·Deputise for the Customer Services Manager·Recruit and interview staff·Deliver IT and customer care training ·Manage the team’s development programme ·Monitor samples process and control current stock levels·Attend weekly product launch meetings and daily logistics meetings ·Liaise directly with customers to generate new business, solve complaints and build customer relationships·Work closely with European sales managers, production-planning, IT, logistics and finance department to ensure smooth operation of daily shipments·Monitor sales order book and provide weekly summaries to senior management team·Create and manage customer, product and portfolio information databases in MS Excel and MS Access and update website with new product ranges
