Founded in 1973, ETM Electromatic, Inc. began supplying high voltage power supplies to microwave tube manufacturers around the world, such as Teledyne, CPI, and L-3 Communications. We have over 1,000 of these power supplies in the field today.In 1988 ETM began building a line of custom high power RF transmitters intended for the defense industry. ETM further developed our expertise in packaging and cooling supporting a wide range of operating conditions such as temperature extremes, vibration, shock, EMI, and numerous on/off cycles. In 1992 ETM developed a modular, lower power, high voltage power supply, allowing us to fully support the size, weight, and maintainability needs of mobile and transportable applications. Today, ETM is part of Teledyne Technologies, reporting to the Healthcare Group of the Digital Imaging segment. We provide tailored power subsystems to system integrators and equipment manufacturers around the world. We build High Power Microwave and High Energy X-Ray solutions for applications such as:- Radar, Threat Simulation, and Jamming- Medical / Radiotherapy- Security / Cargo Scanning- Satellite, Deep Space, and Troposcatter Communications- Scientific, and Industrial- Laboratory Test and MeasurementWe are AS-9100 certified and geared to the needs of the Defense, Aerospace and Medical Industries. Our objective is to help our partners successfully execute their missions. We provide support through the life of the program and continue to service every product we have shipped.Located in Newark, California (San Francisco Bay area), Teledyne ETM owns our 58,000 sq-ft purpose-built facility, and occupies an additional 8,000 sq-ft service and integration facility in Fort Collins, Colorado.
