Hi, I’m Roger, and Global Head of Studio Relations at MPLC.We partner with the world’s leading entertainment companies to enable businesses to understand and comply with public performance regulations. Companies use TV shows and films to help their business be more successful. Sometimes it’s retail, entertainment or hospitality venues creating a great environment for their customers. Other times staff rooms and canteens have TVs for staff to watch when they are taking a break from their busy day. Almost any time there is a screen in a public place showing TV or film, then a public performance is happening and requires a licence. That’s where MPLC can help. Our licence is backed by public performance rights from the world’s biggest and best film and entertainment brands giving organisations unrivalled coverage to show the content they want.When a company buys an MPLC licence, they’re not only ensuring that public performances at their organisations are compliant. They’re also helping to fund the next generation of awesome content. I joined MPLC in 2024, after a 34-year track record in international distribution, marketing and production across Paramount, IMAX and United International Pictures.When I’m not at home in LA, I’m normally travelling to visit MPLC studio contacts and rightsholders across the US, UK and the rest of the world, please do get in contact if you’d like to hear more.
