Working with a team of engineers in a large department charged with carrying out feasibility studies for international electrical construction projects. My tasks included giving informal English lessons to colleagues and translations of a technical nature, normally relating to technology in EPR nuclear power stations and feasibility studies of implementing such technology abroad. Translations of commercial nature included documents for the website of the marketing department.

Kiel Area, Germany

Working within a small team in a State Development Bank. Tasks included translations of technical and commercial nature, minute-taking at meetings, representing company at trade fairs. Biggest role was helping to secure almost €2 million of EU funding for renewable energy project (RENREN) under the INTERREG IVC scheme by liaising with potential partner regions, gathering and updating information and database records.
