As Engineering Leader of the Compliance team, I lead the engineering teams that create products and services in the money transfer compliance domain. This entails the development and enrichment of compliance platform that helps Western Union in implementing anti-money laundering (AML) programs such as Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Agent (KYA), Sanctions and PEP Screening, Regulatory Reporting, and Case Management.I lead multiple cross-functional teams of Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, and Engineers (100+ individuals) in terms of both technology and people. I contribute to the teams' long-term road map definition, oversee daily delivery, drive the engineering implementation of the road map, and assist shape the strategic direction. Coaching and mentoring architects, and engineering managers is another crucial component of my present role, which helps me to build an efficient team with the right work culture.

Initial few years, I was part of a transformation and modernization CoE wherein I lead a team of architects to work on multiple modernization and transformation assignments, research, and internal accelerator development for expedited migration.Next, I joined a large transformation project as a senior delivery manager for a large bank in Toronto, Canada. This was a complex multi-year program involving the transformation and migration of 30+ complex applications (including policy admin systems, Claims, CRM, customer management applications, FileNet, etc.) and associated infrastructure to a managed service. Created and executed a multi-year technical roadmap and release plan while collaborating with a large number of internal and external stakeholders. Next, I joined a transformation project as a senior delivery manager for Renault Lead management system migration (LM2). This transformation involved moving from an old Salesforce solution to a microservices-based solution by modernizing technical architecture. I successfully led this three-year-long project end to end and created a system that was far more reliable, scalable, and cost-effective.

As development manger and people leader in RBS insurance, my primary contributions were- End-to-end owner of multiple critical applications, which evolved driving project deliveries, creating technology roadmap, strategic planning, vendor strategy, and, continuous improvement- Successfully managed multiple large and complex projects/programs specifically on application transformation, one example is the transformation program to migrate RBS insurance/direct line claims system to the Guidewire product.
