Assisting the Technology Innovation Center in the development of key research projects.

Developed and introduced successful new products to ensure company leadership in the building products market. Working closely with both Business Development and Marketing to identify new technology, product and system concepts for implementation. Conducted comprehensive physical testing and prepared specifications as part of the product development process. Evaluation of raw materials to maintain or improve competitive advantage in the market. Attended trade shows and conducted field visits to stay connected to customer needs and requirements. Supervised staff assigned to assist with development programs, and provided training to improve their technical competence.

Development of new products and technical support of existing products. This included planning and participating in plant trials and or field tests as required during development. Prepared technical reports within targeted dates providing information and recommendations as required within the scope of the project.

Worked in team environment responsible for design and development of Construction Systems utilizing new or existing products. This included fabrication of various framing components planning and conducting full scale Fire, Acoustical, and Structural tests required to meet performance requirements . Participated in the start up of four new manufacturing plants monitoring the performance and quality of the Stucco produced in the mill as well as performance requirements of the finished wallboard product.
