Recruited as a consultant for National Holding, my mission was to drive growth in the Automotive sector with a forward-looking approach, focusing on lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and strategic acquisitions. My extensive experience in China enabled me to introduce companies like BYD, spearheading the launch of Abu Dhabi's first electric bus network. Despite initial resistance, as electric buses and EVs were then unfamiliar to the board, I successfully navigated these challenges.My efforts extended to facilitating communications with Elon Musk, culminating in bringing Tesla to Abu Dhabi. This move not only attracted board interest in terms of share acquisitions but also marked a significant milestone, despite some discussions concluding without agreement. Moreover, I proposed several projects aimed at enhancing the sustainable transportation ecosystem, including the establishment of the first battery plant in Jebel Ali and launching the first Eco TAXI in collaboration with Nissan. Unfortunately, these projects did not receive board approval.Throughout my tenure, I have endeavored to broaden my impact and express my gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to National Holding, a company I hold in high regard.
