Rommel Rodrigo is a public servant with more than six years of meaningful multidisciplinary experience in policy formulation and advocacy, socioeconomic development planning and research, and data analysis and visualization both at the national and local government levels. He also possesses a strong academic background in law, accounting, audit, taxation, and management advisory services. He finished his bachelor's degree at the University of the Philippines where he served as student leader and community youth organizer in various capacities while working as municipal government legislator in his hometown. He also earned Juris Doctor units from the University of the Philippines College of Law.Currently, he is engaged at the premier socioeconomic planning authority of the Philippine government, serving as senior focal and lead secretariat for the Eastern Visayas Regional Development Council, the highest planning and policy-making body in the region.
