I have worked as a manager and producer in television news, as a reporter, anchor, and play-by-play man in radio news, and a sports editor for a small newspaper. I am intensely interested in changes in the business and how we will continue to produce news across platforms. Really.My goal is simple: prepare the next generation of journalists for a career that will certainly change markedly during their time. I want them to be able to do the job as it exists now and be flexible enough to change when the time comes for changes.I also have a strong interest in networking and helping those students find great places to grow as journalists.
