• Work with Director of Product Development, Designers, ImportAccount Coordinators and global manufacturing factories in Thailand, China & India to meet deadlines for our collections/ new products to launch at corporate trade shows for customer’s review.• Assist in full lifecycle of product development including ideation, design, and creation.• Assist in managing/ designing ten different product lines ranging from 200 sku – 2,300 skus.• Study each product line to define best sellers & identify what styles that are not selling to move to markdowns.• Work closely with licensed artiest/ brands; convey companies artwork needs for upcoming season.• Review submitted artwork from artist with Product Development Team & select final prints for next seasons collection.• Arrange high resolution artwork files & create print menus for eachfactory so sampling preparations can begin.• Create detailed product sample speck sheets for factories inThailand, China & India.• Create mock-up of products when needed of handbags, headwear, mugs, scarves, umbrellas, product tags and or metal accessories.• Actively follow up with factories to ensure samples are approved and shipped on time.• Actively research trends for new categories within the market & close competitors.• Assist in negotiating final product costs to gain better margins.• Create spreadsheet orders with final selections, costs, upc & product details & communicate with the Inventory Manager when initial order is ready to be entered into the system.• Meet with graphics team to discuss final product line to beginphotoshoots, line sheets & catalog layouts.• Assist in catalog design, product color correcting & approving final color catalog proofs.
