Co-designed and built $1.5M Network Operations Facility for product hosting. Led administration and maintenance of the NOC, located at the Pittock Building in downtown Portland. Led design and implementation of systems architecture, worked with colleagues to define, develop and implement network infrastructure. This NOC hosted high availability e-commerce system for secure distribution of digital music using client-side caching technology. Center capable of supporting millions of users. Administration of this system included clustered SQL and IIS severs, Load balanced IIS servers, reverse proxy servers, DNS administration for 40+ domains, multiple SANs, managing x.509 certificates, monitoring, etc. Site has had an uptime of 99.992% since its online date in July of 2000, excepting scheduled maintenance. Provided training to junior staff. Other duties included supporting software development and QA groups, contingency planning, and leading Operations/Production cross-functional groups.

Defined and implemented policies and standards in a network of over 1400 users. Responsibilities included design, configuration and maintenance of Windows NT Domain/Servers, migration of Novell NetWare servers to NT, UNIX and AIX administration; design, establishment and maintenance of DHCP, DNS, WINS, File and Print services, etc. in a WAN environment.
