Position summary - During my time at Toray I was given the chance to cross train. My first task was to build a viable document control system for the company. NexPrise was the system that I learned to be able to create the document control center; this system also was used in creating internal and external forms and workflows. My knowledge with MSSQL databases gave me the opportunity to work with the Pervasive SQL server (v8.3), the plant was a 24 hour a day facility. I created a backup system using the Pervasive script language that did a full backup of the database every two hours. The script is still used today and has given the facility a viable backup system that will recover all production data.
