As the CEO and cofounder of ProEx Food, I am growing our unique global company that designs, manufactures, sources, integrates, installs and automates food processing and packaging equipment. We specialize in fruit and vegetable applications with additional food verticals. ProEx Food is at the forefront of automation technology – not only for packaging, but throughout the entire production process.This all started in 2018. At the time, I was the president of a food processing equipment manufacturer and saw an opportunity to help my processor clients. Many of these customers were diversifying their own product portfolios and asking for help getting ready for production in those verticals. Additionally, there was a great desire to innovate in equipment and processes to improve output quality, increase operational efficiency, mitigate downtime and most importantly: address constant labor shortages that were hindering our customers’ revenue and growth. A restrictive result of this meant that through industry provider consolidation of manufacturing options and refocus of internal cost to the production line, many of our customers were in the dark on what options exited and needed help finding, engineering, and installing equipment. So, I broke away, along with my engineering business partner, determined to help our customers implement innovative solutions to their production lines. Today, we deliver turn-key solutions, from individual equipment to full line and facility design, for your food processing operation. We utilize ProEx Food in-house engineering and our global product portfolio to optimize our solutions, including offering the control panel integration and automation – all with technology we have already tested and vetted.
