Production:• Developed a full Revit workflow for modeling Curtain Walls, and helped to make a smooth transition from the old CAD workflow.• Prepared, maintained and supervised full Curtain Wall Revit models & Full Building Envelope detail packages for $5-$20 mil. sized projects.• Developed highly parametric families required for the model, including: Curtain Wall frames, Anchors, Glass, Infills, Doors.• All Families developed with a full set of parameters to allow for automatic ETO, GTO and Frame count schedule generation.• Material take-off accuracy has improved due to the new completely automated process.• Errors & site fixes percentage has dropped significantly since the adoption of the new BIM workflow.• Maintained a fully electronic submission workflow through Revit model submissions.Standards & Training:• Developed company BIM and CAD standards.• Developed company training material in both hard copies and videos.• Trained +15 Modelers/Drafters/Job Captains and directed a team of 7 Revit Specialist.• Developed Revit assessment tests for possible new hires, and for periodic performance assessment for existing team.• Interviewed, assessed and trained all new hires of the BIM team.Implementation:• Implemented BlueBeam, to allow for better work tracking and better team communication.
